The Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival

We exhibit over 150 films every year and rely on shipping companies to deliver our “exhibition prints” on time. This is never a big problem - and they do a great job! It’s the COST of having to send back 50-pound cans of 35mm film.

If Austin had the Google Fiber network, we’d be able to download the original high-resolution copies of the films and project them digitally - seamlessly. And at hundred/thousands of times faster than our WiMax connection - we’d be done…well…yesterday.
